These are photos that have appeared as the "Spotlight" on the front page of the Central Texas DX and Contest Club web site. 2017: Larry K5OT has been a CTDXCC member since 2003 when he discovered that he would be relocating to the Austin area. He knew that this club was the epicenter of DX and Contesting activities in central Texas. Larry enjoys chasing DX and contesting from the K5TR contest station near Johnson City – although you might hear him as a stealth QRP station from home or as a mobile or remote. A past vice president and president of CTDXCC, Larry currently serves as the ARRL November Sweepstakes Contest Manager. Sweepstakes is the oldest domestic contest (since 1930) and he enjoys promoting the popular contest (both CW and SSB) each year along with assistance in log entry and adjudication. He also maintains the SS records database on the ARRL website.
