Local Repeater Activity
GE Master II Repeater
WA5VTV/R is a GE Master II repeater

A few CTDXCC members meet on a local two meter FM voice repeater to chat about DX and contesting while they drive. Find us on WA5VTV/R 147.360 MHz (+600 kHz transmit offset) with a 131.8 Hz access tone. The repeater is located on a broadcast transmitter tower on a hill west of Lake Austin. The best times to find CTDXCC members on the repeater are during typical drive times, especially before and after the club meetings, and after major contests, as guest operators or multi-operator team members are driving home.

Michael Pendley WA5VTV is not a member of the CTDXCC. The WA5VTV/R repeater is one of two repeaters designated for use by the Travis County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (TCARES) The other TCARES repeater is on 146.940 MHz, -600 kHz transmit offset, no access tone. A weekly Travis County ARES net is held on the 147.360 MHz repeater Sunday nights at 7:30 PM. The repeater is used by the local SkyWarn operators, and it is also occasionally used for public service events on weekends. Please respect these primary uses of the repeater.
