"We did much better to Japan this year thanks in part to not having the bad line noise this year from the northwest. The first night was just awful on the low bands with nasty QRN, but the second night was much better but still rough. We were disappointed that the rates were not higher the second day - Saturday's European run was really great, but Sunday was not a repeat performance." - N5TW

"Conditions were certainly not up to last year or this year's CW contest. There was S9 static on 80 meters and 160 meters all weekend long. This was still a personal best thanks to a new QTH and better antennas." - N5AW
