It's my sad duty to report the passing of Ed Linde, K0GEX. Ed acted as secretary of the CTDXCC and is currently the only QSL card checker in the Austin area for the new DXCC card checking program. A little over a year ago he earned DXCC #1 Honor Roll. He appeared in good health at both the Dayton Hamvention and Dallas HamCom this year. He was hospitalized a few days ago, and I received word this morning that he died last night. Ed and I go back over 28 years when we were both contest station captains in the Dutchess County VHF Society. Ed was a terrific guy, and will be greatly missed by many.
