Central Texas received over an inch of snow on the morning of 14 February 2004. This is a highly unusual event. Fortunately, the precipitation was entirely snow, without any significant icing.

The multi-tower DX and contest station of Tom Whiteside N5TW, near Georgetown, in Williamson County.
The suburban single-tower station of Wayne Wright W5XD , in the city of Round Rock, in Williamson County.
This is the station of Brad Rehm KV5V , near Jarrell, in Williamson County.
This HF log periodic antenna is at the station of Skip Cameron W5GAI , in northwest Austin, in Travis County.
A forty meter dipole in the backyard of Ken Harker WM5R, in northwest Austin, in Travis County.
