City of Cedar Park

In the City of Cedar Park, antenna regulations are part of the Zoning Ordinance. Section 14A.1 describes restrictions on land use according to "corridors:"

Sec. 14A.101.Intent and Definition

In order to provide for beautification, to ensure quality development, to
encourage economic development, to minimize traffic congestion and to promote
the general health, safety, and welfare of the community, the Corridor Overlay
(CO) establishes design standard withing 400' of the Downtown Corridor
(FM 1431 from the railroad tracks to US 183A), FM 1431, US 183, US 183A,
Parmer Lane, Cypress Creek Rd., Brushy Creek ROad, Lakeline Blvd., and 
Anderson Mill Rd. within the City of Cedar Park city limits.

SECTION 14A.2: USES NOT PREMITTED

Sec. 14A.201 uses Not Permitted in All Corridors

a. mini-warehouse self-storage facilities

b. material salvage unelss enclosed within a building

c. outdoor storage

d. sexually-oriented businesses

e. transmitting and receiving towers

f. motor vehicle salvage

Section 16 of the Zoning Ordinances addresses height and area regulations, but exempts towers:

Sec. 16.1 Height

16.101. The height regulations prescribed herein shall not apply to television
        and radio towers, church spires, belfries, monuments, tanks, water and
        fire towers, stage towers, scenery lofts, cooling towers, ornamental 
        towers and spires, chimneys, elevator bulkheads, smokestacks, 
        necessary public or private utilities, conveyors, flag poles and 
        necessary mechanical appurtenances.
