"I was planning to operate casually but somehow I got sucked into operating for 24 hours. I was happy to work all 50 states, but I wish there had been more DX openings." - K5DU

"Just had to beat last year's score. I had some good runs." - N8NOE

"Conditions didn't seem as good as last year here. I guess that explains the lower multiplier count. We lost an amplifier three hours in, so we had to just operate low power for much of the contest. When we stopped at 0800 UTC, we were about 150 QSOs behind last year's total, but in the last five hours we somehow made them up and ended up three QSOs ahead of last year. We had a few bugs using Win-Test for RTTY for the first time, but all in all we had a great time." - K5NZ

"This was my first RTTY contest. It was fun. Thanks for the QSOs!" - N5XJ

"My 2009 effort fell short of the 2008 effort that won AA5VU 1st place for Single Op HP STX. I missed DC and NE for Worked All States. I did get KH6 and KL7 as DX." - AA5VU
